Branding & event promotion

Although inclusive of all people in the LGBTI community, the Wellington 2011 Outgames needed a strong female representation to ensure women participants and their supporters felt a sense of belonging and celebration. The Games volunteers had a very clear picture of how they wanted the women's space to be perceived: inviting, sensual, celebratory, intriguing, empowering and charismatic. This I brought to life by using an icon - Bella - and colours, shading and a range of fonts. It worked! The team of volunteers loved it, and the week-long event was a hit.
